So, I haven't posted anything about Winter Wonderslam yet...and I apologize. Let me just sum it up for you...
IT WAS AMAZING.
First of all, I went with my birthmom, Marci, and she managed to get me back into a private meet-and-greet with all of the bands! The artists that were there were:
B. Reith Family Force 5 <33333 Relient K TobyMac
And that's exactly the order I met them in. I didn't know exactly who B. Reith was when I met him, but he's a really great guy and a great performer as well. Did I mention he's pretty? He introduced himself as soon as I walked in the room and then there was a handshake and I stumbled over my name, E-lizzie-liza-beth, and then there was a hug and a photo op. :]
Next...was the most awesome thing in the history of awesomeness...I got to meet Family Force 5!!! It started with an awkward little conversation as I was waiting to meet the whole band with frontman, Solomon Olds a.k.a Soul Glow Activatur. He, like all the other members, are SUPER NICE. And insanely awesome. I, of course, forgot my name. Again. Don't worry...I forgot it a total of about 5 times. Then, as I was walking towards the rest of the members, I tripped, due to the lack of traction that my shoes produce and found myself less than a foot away from guitarist Derek Mount, a.k.a Chap Stique's, face. [Note: I am like the biggest Chap Stique fan of all time. So much so, my friends tell me that I am like a girl version Chap Stique.] He was like "HI! How are YOU doing today!? =D" and I was like " X___X Uhhh...uhhh....uhh....uhhh...good? *nervous smile*". You can tell just by looking at Chappy, that he's like the nicest guy ever. All the guys are totally awesome! Jacob Olds, a.k.a Crouton even stopped me on our way by and told me how awesome my outfit looked and how nice I looked. They all gave me compliments on my outfit and how I looked. That's like, huge for me. :]]]
I also met Relient K, but I didn't get to talk to them very much because we were in a hurry. Matthew, the frontman, was VERY tall and practically just had his chin right on my head in all of the pictures. They were awesome.
Then we got to meet the man himself, Tobymac! He is INSANELY nice. All smiles, all the time!
The show itself was amazing. Inflatable penguins, strobe lights, loud music, fist pumping, break dancing, and confetti snow cannons.
