CHECK OUT THE NEW COMMENT BOXES ON DANCE WITH ME AND LOVELY/LONELY!!!

So, I haven't posted anything about Winter Wonderslam yet...and I apologize. Let me just sum it up for you...

IT WAS AMAZING.

First of all, I went with my birthmom, Marci, and she managed to get me back into a private meet-and-greet with all of the bands! The artists that were there were:

B. Reith
Family Force 5 <33333
Relient K
TobyMac

And that's exactly the order I met them in. I didn't know exactly who B. Reith was when I met him, but he's a really great guy and a great performer as well. Did I mention he's pretty? He introduced himself as soon as I walked in the room and then there was a handshake and I stumbled over my name, E-lizzie-liza-beth, and then there was a hug and a photo op. :]

Next...was the most awesome thing in the history of awesomeness...I got to meet Family Force 5!!! It started with an awkward little conversation as I was waiting to meet the whole band with frontman, Solomon Olds a.k.a Soul Glow Activatur. He, like all the other members, are SUPER NICE. And insanely awesome. I, of course, forgot my name. Again. Don't worry...I forgot it a total of about 5 times. Then, as I was walking towards the rest of the members, I tripped, due to the lack of traction that my shoes produce and found myself less than a foot away from guitarist Derek Mount, a.k.a Chap Stique's, face. [Note: I am like the biggest Chap Stique fan of all time. So much so, my friends tell me that I am like a girl version Chap Stique.] He was like "HI! How are YOU doing today!? =D" and I was like " X___X Uhhh...uhhh....uhh....uhhh...good? *nervous smile*". You can tell just by looking at Chappy, that he's like the nicest guy ever. All the guys are totally awesome! Jacob Olds, a.k.a Crouton even stopped me on our way by and told me how awesome my outfit looked and how nice I looked. They all gave me compliments on my outfit and how I looked. That's like, huge for me. :]]]

I also met Relient K, but I didn't get to talk to them very much because we were in a hurry. Matthew, the frontman, was VERY tall and practically just had his chin right on my head in all of the pictures. They were awesome.

Then we got to meet the man himself, Tobymac! He is INSANELY nice. All smiles, all the time!

The show itself was amazing. Inflatable penguins, strobe lights, loud music, fist pumping, break dancing, and confetti snow cannons.

Simply outstanding.

So it snowed last night! :] It's the first time I've ever seen snow falling. Ever. So I was pretty psyched.

So... it's been a couple days since I've posted anything. Sorry, it's just I don't like blogging when other people are REALLY close around me...I don't know why, it's like writing in a diary; even though there's nothing I'm hiding, it's just kinda' weird having someone looking over your shoulder...y'know?

Yeaaah, so I just accidentally elbowed my mom in the face, stopping right before I hit her, but yet managing to snap her glasses. Leaving her completely un-harmed. That's skill. lol. What was more skillful was the super-glue job I had to do afterwards.

So anyway, I got a jar of one of my favorite things the other day...Maraschino Cherries.

And now I'm talking to my bestie Emily! :]

So. It's Sunday night. You know what that means...Monday morning is hours away. Oh boy. *sigh* Where do the weekends go??? It's like "Oh Boy! Friday Night!!!" -poof- "oh boy...monday morning...meh."

lol. Anyway. So, Winter Wonderslam is in like 5 days and I couldn't be more psyched! I have the perfect outfit and everything! I know that Family Force 5 is only a minor part of the evening but I honestly cannot wait for whatever 3 or 4 songs they get to play! I'm also pretty excited about Relient K. I haven't listened to them in quite some time and I'm not up to date on their new songs. I guess my favorite would be "Who I am Hates Who I've Been" followed closely by "Be My Escape". "Mood Rings" is also pretty funny. My favorite line is "Girls wear mood rings, so we'll be tipped off, to when you're ticked off." Lol. I really hope I get to take a pic with ff5! That would be so awesome. You know what would be more awesome!?! Getting to get up on stage with them and do the "Kountry Gentleman" breakdown. lol it's somewhat of a talent. To show you how ridiculous it really is...I repeat all of this...with no music, and only like 2 breaths:

"Now that I got your attention just let me mention that I'm pinchin' pennies, to buy some twenties, and I got plenty of manies of monies just to give to my friends, and that would certify me as a Kountry Gentleman. MAMA! Whatcha got cookin up in that kitchen? Cookin fried chicken? You know I love that soul food! Everything you cook is so good: for a southern man like, gotta cook it up clean, cook it up mean. mama don't like it when ya' got leftovers gimme some of them collard greens. Got me superb and I gots' to go, down to the grocery store. Tailgate party at the big beach, jumpin up and down in the back of a truck man! look at that kid tryin to act all big, tryin to break dance and break his leg. But he ain't got what I got, let's make is hot, in this parking lot!"

So, yeah. Random Lizzie talent. lol.

Well, I can't say there was much excitement today, unless you count the fact that when my sister, my mom, and I went out to lunch the lady behind the counter had a seizure...Scary stuff.

People were on the phone with 911, the whole nine yards. I don't know why, but it really freaked me out...I guess it's because I know I had seizures when I was really little. It really makes you think about life. When I saw her down there, all I could think afterwards was, "what if it was me?". Like I said, scary stuff. The ambulance finally got there.

But think about it. All my money, all my clothes, all my looks, all my jewelry, all my music, all my stuff...would be worth nothing once I die. Is stuff really that important?

So anyway, not much else is happening. I taught karate class last night. It's pretty boring other than that.

Monday, December 1, 2008♥.

Soooo, another day right? It's so boring. =\ bleh. At least I'm feeling a little better and I get to go to karate! Yay. At least it's more fun than being at home. I wish I hadn't totally messed up my foot the other day playing kitty football with my cat that really didn't want to go outside.

She has this thing where she hides under the bed for long periods of time and needs to go outside because we don't have a litterbox...she hides directly in the middle of under the bed. This makes it terribly difficult to get her out. Me and my mom tried bribe, threaten, poke, grab, and even scare out the cat. Now, if you know my cat Shadow, you know she's just like her owner...hardheaded and fussy. lol. So after trying about everything we could think of, we just settled for putting another one of our cats under the bed with her, to annoy her out. That didn't work either. So, last resort...vacuum cleaner. I turned it on and she took off out of my parent's room. By the time I shut it off and my mom reached down for her she turned and started a frantic dash back to the bedroom. I saw her heading towards the bed and tried to catch her the best way possible...I tackled her. Unfortunately, she escaped straight under the bed. So there I was, laying face down on the floor, with a re-injured foot [see previous post]. And no cat. *sigh* Eventually we tried the vacuum again and finally had success. Thank goodness.

So anyway that's how I re-injured my foot. Not much to report here. I'm gonna go to karate soon. Peace.
