So, another day in the life of a sickness phenomenon. I've been sick for who-knows-how-long and I'm ready to be healthy. :[ I guess I just have to deal. I really don't want to go back to the doctor...in fact, that's extremely low on my wishlist this Christmas; right next to cleaning the toilet and dumping out a litterbox. I think I'm sickness prone; a horrible trait to have.

So this probably hasn't happened to anyone else...but if you have Windows XP, it just might have. Okay the other day, on Thanksgiving, sometime in the evening I tried to boot up the computer. There are 3 accounts : Home, Lizzie, and Guest. All controlled by one master password that only my parents know. So anyway, we used to have an old laptop linked to our desktop with the accounts: Administrator and Guest. It had its own information and all that good stuff. We got rid of the laptop a few months ago. Anyway, on Thanksgiving I booted up the computer and I asked my dad to type in the master password for the Lizzie account. He typed it in and it told us that my account had been frozen because of an incorrect password entry and to log into the admin. account a.k.a the Home account. He tried to log into the Home account and it said the same thing. So, I decided to just restart the computer. When it came back up, instead of Lizzie, Home, and Guest, we had Home and Guest. Lizzie was gone. This greatly disturbed me because all of my folders and all of my stuff was totally GONE. I tried to restart it again. This time it came up Administrator and Guest. Sounds okay right? Administrator is the account from the old laptop. Somehow it pulled a 'Ghost of Christmas Past' and replaced the Home account. Me and my dad logged into the Admin. account and sure enough, all of the laptop's data was on the desktop. I decided to restart it again. This time, Administrator was gone. Only Guest remained. Okay, now I was getting concerned. I restarted it 4 or 5 more times with no change, finally on the 6th time...nothing came up. No accounts. Great. This means that I couldn't log onto the computer, at all. Perfect...I restarted it over and over again with no results. Finally I left it alone and Home and Lizzie magically re-appeared. Odd. I'm kind of hoping it doesn't happen again...¬_¬ meh.

Well, I'm outta stuff to say...

So maybe it's just the aftermath of the Thanksgiving festivities settling in, but I really don't feel good. :[ My stomach hurts and every time I even think about food, I feel nauseous. How is it, that on ONE day, you can eat ONE meal, and maybe not even FINISH that particular meal, and suffer the aftermath of it for days at a time? Mysteries, mysteries...perhaps there's something in the food...hmm, conspiracy...lol.

Anywho, so in other Thanksgiving related news; I actually watched part of the Macy's parade. I was waiting for the computer to boot up, but I caught a glimpse. Now, it wasn't horrible, but something that confounded me was that on one of the floats, was the singer David Archuletta. Now, that's not the weird part. The weird part is that they kept calling him "American Idol: David Archulleta.". Call me crazy, I mean I didn't watch anything but the last two episodes, but didn't David Cook win American Idol? I strongly believe David Archuletta should have won...but he didn't...so why is he so much more popular, have more songs, playing in the Macy's Parade, and being referred to as "The American Idol"? Weird. I know if I won something as big as American Idol, I would probably appreciate being referred to as the American Idol. But hey, that's just me...

On the plus side of my holiday...since I refuse to eat, on the penalty of tossing my cookies, I seem to have broken my Ramen addiction cycle! The real test will be if I can control myself when I'm healthy... *sigh* ONE pack a day. Just one. I think I can handle it. Another thing I don't quite understand is the fact that every time I get sick, it either lands on a holiday, a gorgeous day, a major event, or a weekend/vacation. It never fails. I've been sick on 80% of my karate belt testings. I've been sick for like 50% of all holidays since age 5. And every time I feel sick BAM! Blue sky and sunshine...or I feel like going outside...what the heck?

I really don't wanna go to the doctor AGAIN but I've been sick for so long now...it's getting old, fast. I don't think a day has gone by [okay maybe two in the last month] that I haven't run a low-grade fever. I had this same problem a year or two ago, maybe it's just me...lol.

Okay I don't know if anyone else plays Dance Dance Revolution...but I love it. It's awesome, and I rock at it. Although I must admit I haven't played it in a while. Hmm, maybe when I'm better.
Anyway there's lots of totally bizarre songs that are totally addicting from that game, but none as bizarre as "Pizza Hut (the Burger Dance)". I am not even kidding you. Don't fret, it will be on my DDR playlist once I get my DDR page up. I don't think I could even put into words a description of the song. I almost died when I first heard it. [Waka Laka is also uniquely awesome...]

Check out my new DDR page: Dance With Me!

Yeah so, I really wasn't kidding when I said I ate too much Ramen...You know that you eat waaaaay to much Ramen when you find yourself promising your family that you'll cut down to two packs a day...

Hello. My Name's Elizabeth, and I'm a recovering Maruchan Ramen addict...

*crowd in background*: Hi Elizabeth...

lol. Yeah I'm kinda hoping it doesn't get to that point. But you never know...It's pretty darn addicting...and cheap. At least I get a break from it tomorrow, unless I sneak some into the turkey...hmmmmm, ideas ideas...just kidding! I'm not that desperate...

Anyway, so tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Duh. And I'm guessing lots of people are planning some pretty fun stuff. As usual it's gonna be pretty low-key at my house, there's a shock. We're gonna have some family over, eat a ton of food, and just chill. And I...am going to sleep until Friday. *sighs* ah yes, sleeping in. :] I wish I could sleep that long...for some reason my retarded body wakes me up around 8:30 every morning, even if I stay up until 3 the night before. -_- *sigh* Chances are, I'll be awake by 10. Assuming mom doesn't wake me up earlier; like she chooses to do on weekends.

On another note: Does anyone know where to buy hot pink leggings? I've looked everywhere and I can't find them. I almost bought some metallic silver ones but then I decided that I want hot pink. I need them for my outfit for the Family Force 5 concert on the 12th. I assumed that Wal-Mart or Target might have had them, apparently that's the only color they DON'T carry. So right now I'm left with boring black ones. Oh well, I guess it's not gonna matter anyway.

So starting tomorrow, radio stations across the globe with start broadcasting Christmas music. I'm all for holiday cheer, but can't it wait until, oh, I don't know...December, maybe? There's only so many times I can listen to "White Christmas" before I'm ready for January. Or maybe they might just sneakily mix holiday music in with the other music...but not Bing Crosby and 'Santa Baby' 24/7. I think it kills holiday cheer by putting music lovers in a Christmas chokehold and slowly suffocating them with an overdose of deck-the-halls. Or! or or, maybe maybe maybe they might just try mixing in some less mainstream Holiday music. Like I personally liked the X Holiday cd. It was all the Christmas songs that you love, just re-done by more hardcore artists...sorry Bing, I'd rather hear FM Static's version...

Does anyone actually watch that huge parade that goes on? You know, the Macy's one. In my opinion, parade's aren't much fun unless you're in them. With the exception of the last few I've been in where I've had to wear Reindeer antlers -_-. Parades just seem to not be terribly exciting and kids just go to get the opportunity to run out in the middle of the street to grab candy that strangers throw on the ground. Mmmm, ground candy...good times...good times...
But honestly, have you ever actually sat through an entire televised parade. It's MUCH less exciting than an already un-exciting regular live parade... it's about as much fun a watching a documentary on training mules and donkeys. And believe me, that is one piece of television gold that I found on TV a few weeks ago that I won't ever forget. But really, does anyone SIT DOWN and watch the WHOLE Macy's Day Parade? I don't plan to.

Well, I hope everyone has a fun holiday! Peace.

Well, i'm like insanely sore. from last nights karate class...apparently I have close to no defense during 3 on 1 sparring when I can't run away. I hit my foot on a red-black belt's knee and I was pretty much immobile. So my other two opponents decided to just pretty much beat the living shenanigans out of me : thanks guys. thanks a lot. I basically just palm-heeled and ridge-handed people in the face until they beat me to death, then when Mr. Cody [who is like 2 feet taller than me] threw me to the ground I grabbed the back of his neck and clawed his head on the way down...sorry about that Cody...

So I've been eating alot of Ramen lately...so much so that I feel like a Naruto character. Yeah, it's that bad...so do any of you happen to have a good ramen recipie? Like a home made one? I usually add scrambled egg to mine with some green onion, to give a more authentic feel... I think I've eaten Ramen for at least two meals a day for the last week. I know it's got a lot of fat and stuff in it so I try to not eat more than two packs a day...I don't think I can stop...I need like a Ramen intervention or something...

Other than that not much is happening. I decided to experiment with my hair today. I put it up in curlers. Yeah....there should be a rule that if you have hair as thick as mine, you shouldn't curl your hair...I look like Marilyn Monroe on drugs. And the best part is that I get to go help teach a karate class tonight, and there is NO WAY for me to put my hair up...yeah, that's gonna be fun.

So I can't really think of anything else exciting. That seems to be the story of my life recently...a whole lot of boring and a whole lot of blah. On another note, I do have a new Facebook account, so yay for that! Now to get my phone back...stupid text messaging plan; not having enough messages per month *disappointed glare*. Well, I guess I'm out!

"♪No! You'll never be alone! When darkness comes, I'll light the night with stars...hear the Whispers in the Dark...♪" Whispers in the Dark by Skillet
So yeah, this is my first blog post...obviously.
I'd like to state that the music in my playlist is all clean, but may be a little rockier for some people's tastes, so if hardcore isn't your thing, I recommend the Relient K songs.
As usual, not much exciting is happening here in boring little Coldspring...Figures.
I guess I should probably sum up the last couple of major events then, huh?
Well, I just got my 1st degree black-belt about two weeks ago in the martial art of Tang Soo Do. Yeah, it sounds kinda funny, but it is actually a more traditional martial art; sorta' similar to Tae Kwon Do. I study at the Onalaska branch of the Paks Martial Arts Academy. I am currently in the Trainee Instructor program and I hope to get full "Assistant Instructor" soon! I love teaching martial arts, and I love to compete in martial arts. I went to the Tae Kwon Do National
Competition in June and brought home 3 golds, 2 silver, and a bronze. I also represented "Paks Texas" with one other blackbelt, Ms. Sophia Davenport, in the "Grand Championship Forms" event and helped my team win gold! Go "Team Extreme"!!!...even though our name was clichĕ...
I brought home gold in my sparring competition. It was a blood, sweat, and tears event...literally. 3 out of 4 contestants cried [I almost did because I was so happy when it was over and I wasn't dead...], I bled, and there was gallons of sweat. My last round, the gold medal round, was definitely one of the toughest matches I've ever had. I'm surprised we both weren't disqualified for how hard we were slugging eachother. Anyway, I got a black eye, and I can't eat without my jaw popping now, but I wouldn't trade it for anything :].
Okay so anyway, I'm gonna' be going to the one of the Louisiana Paks Martial Art schools in a couple of weeks to help them out with one of their belt testing ceremonies. So that should be fun. Yay out of state travel!
So in other news, I'm pretty excited because I'm going to be heading down the Houston for the "Winter Wonderslam" with my birthmom. I'm so ridiculously psyched because my favorite band, Family Force 5, is playing! I already picked out the most rad outfit I could find and I'm ready to rock Houston!!! I guess that brings me to this weeks "Lizzie's Top 5" !

¡ ♪ℓΐzzîә'ş Ŧǿp 5 Ćǿυиŧ∂ǿωи♫ !
1. Face Down - The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
2. Whispers in the Dark - Skillet
3. D-I-E 4 Y-O-U - Family Force 5
4. Walking Dead - Decyfer Down
5. Purpose to Melody - Disciple

Well, other than that, it's just me, being sick at home. I went to the doctor because I've felt like I've had the flu for the last 4 weeks and sleeping like 4 hours a day. The doctor told me I had mono [yes. the Kissing Disease...you can get it from a sneeze...don't judge.] and made me face my deathly fear of needles and did a blood test. So we went ahead and took the precaution of saying I wouldn't be able to do contact sports for a few months so my spleen wouldn't explode [or something...]. Two days later...Doctor: Oh, by the way, you don't have mono...

So I guess I'll just live with my mystery disease. lol. That's it for now. I'll write more when something eventually happens...
